Deu 16:16  "Three times a year all your men are to appear in the presence of YEHOVAH your God in the place which he will choose - at the festival of matzah, at the festival of Shavu`ot and at the festival of Sukkot. They are not to show up before YEHOVAH empty-handed, Deu 16:17  but every man is to give what he can, in accordance with the blessing YEHOVAH your God has given you.

Deu 28:11  "YEHOVAH will give you great abundance of good things - of the fruit of your body, the fruit of your livestock and the fruit of your land in the land YEHOVAH swore to your ancestors to give you. Deu 28:12  YEHOVAH will open for you his good treasure, the sky, to give your land its rain at the right seasons and to bless everything you undertake. You will lend to many nations and not borrow;

Deu 28:24  YEHOVAH will turn the rain your land needs into powder and dust that will fall on you from the sky until you are destroyed.

Vayikra (Lev) 23:36 Holy Convocation.

Lev 23:36  For seven days you are to bring an offering made by fire to YEHOVAH; on the eighth day you are to have a holy convocation and bring an offering made by fire to YEHOVAH ; it is a day of public assembly; do not do any kind of ordinary work.

CONVOCATION: H4744  מקרא  miqrâ‘  BDB Definition: convocation, convoking, reading, a calling together, sacred assembly, convoking, reading

Lev 23:36  For seven days you are to bring an offering made by fire to YEHOVAH; on the eighth day you are to have a holy convocation and bring an offering made by fire to YEHOVAH ; it is a day of public assembly; do not do any kind of ordinary work.

In the Bible the number 8, which comes after the number (7) which signifies completeness,

Eight is 7 plus 1. Hence it is the number specially associated with Resurrection and Regeneration, and the beginning of a new era or order.

symbolizes a new beginning, or a new order of things, a new creation, a new birth, and the resurrection to eternal life.

1Pe 3:20  to those who were disobedient long ago, in the days of Noach, when God waited patiently during the building of the ark, in which a few people — to be specific, eight — were delivered by means of water.

Vayikra (Lev) 23:33-36 The final holy day of the year.

Lev 23:33  YEHOVAH said to Moshe,

Lev 23:34  "Tell the people of Isra'el, 'On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the feast of Sukkot for seven days to YEHOVAH. Lev 23:35  On the first day there is to be a holy convocation; do not do any kind of ordinary work. Lev 23:36  For seven days you are to bring an offering made by fire to YEHOVAH; on the eighth day you are to have a holy convocation and bring an offering made by fire to YEHOVAH ; it is a day of public assembly; do not do any kind of ordinary work.

Vayikra (Lev) 23:23 WHO SAID.

Lev 23:23  YEHOVAH said to Moshe,

Lev 23:41  You are to observe it as a feast to YEHOVAH seven days in the year; it is a permanent regulation, generation after generation; keep it in the seventh month.
