1015 biblical role models

 

Bible verse: Mattiyahu (Mat) 5:13-18 you are to be role models.

SYNOPSIS: Today’s lesson is going to focus on biblical role models. All people look for someone for guidance. Usually that is not the rabbi or a pastor, for most people do not go to worship GOD any more. In a world that has systematically destroyed the family. It has destroyed the traditional roles for the man and the woman. What do we do to find our role models?

BIBLE VERSES: Mattiyahu (Mat) 5:13-18 you are to be role models. LOFR B’resheet (Gen) 1:3-4 the light is good. Psalm 119:101-105 word is the light. Titus 2:2-8 be an example of truth. Proverbs 13:20-21 who do you walk with. Sh’mot (Ex) 15:22-25 a great role model in so many ways. Luke 22:54-62 what happens after the error is the real role model. Yochanan (Jn) 21:15-17 forgiveness then do HIS work. Sh’mot (Ex) 18:19-21 things to look for in a good role model.
 

Mattiyahu (Mat) 5:13-18 you are to be role models.
Mat 5:14 "You are light for the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.

Proverbs 13:20-21 who do you walk with.
Pro 13:20 He who walks with the wise will become wise, but the companion of fools will suffer.
Pro 13:21 Evil pursues sinners, but prosperity will reward the righteous.

WISE: H2450 חכם châkâm BDB Definition: 1) skilful (in technical work) 2) wise (in administration) 3) learned, shrewd (class of men) 4) prudent 5) wise (ethically and religiously)

FOOLS: H3684 כּסיל kesı̂yl BDB Definition: fool, stupid fellow, dullard, simpleton, arrogant one

Sh’mot (Ex) 15:22-25 a great role model in so many ways.
Exo 15:24 The people grumbled against Moshe and asked, "What are we to drink?"

Luke 22:54-62 what happens after the error is the real role model.
Luk 22:54 Having seized him, they led him away and brought him into the house of the cohen hagadol. Kefa followed at a distance;
Luk 22:55 but when they had lit a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Kefa joined them.
Luk 22:56 One of the servant girls saw him sitting in the light of the fire, stared at him and said, "This man also was with him."
Luk 22:57 But he denied it: "Lady, I don't even know him."
Luk 22:58 A little later, someone else saw him and said, "You're one of them too"; but Kefa said, "Man, I am not!"
Luk 22:59 About an hour later, another man asserted emphatically, "There can be no doubt that this fellow was with him, because he too is from the Galil!"
Luk 22:60 But Kefa said, "Man, I don't know what you're talking about!" And instantly, while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed.
Luk 22:61 The Lord turned and looked straight at Kefa; and Kefa remembered what the Lord had said, "Before the rooster crows today, you will deny me three times."
Luk 22:62 And he went outside and cried bitterly.

Yochanan (Jn) 21:15-17 forgiveness then do HIS work.
Joh 21:15 After breakfast, Yeshua said to Shim`on Kefa, "Shim`on Bar-Yochanan, do you love me more than these?" He replied, "Yes, Lord, you know I'm your friend." He said to him, "Feed my lambs."
Joh 21:16 A second time he said to him, "Shim`on Bar-Yochanan, do you love me?" He replied, "Yes, Lord, you know I'm your friend." He said to him, "Shepherd my sheep."
Joh 21:17 The third time he said to him, "Shim`on Bar-Yochanan, are you my friend?" Shim`on was hurt that he questioned him a third time: "Are you my friend?" So he replied, "Lord, you know everything! You know I'm your friend!" Yeshua said to him, "Feed my sheep!

Sh’mot (Ex) 18:19-21 things to look for in a good role model.
Exo 18:21 But you should choose from among all the people competent men who are God-fearing, honest and incorruptible to be their leaders, in charge of thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.
