2Pe 3:11 Since everything is going to be destroyed like this, what kind of people should you be? You should lead holy and godly lives,
The elements would be melted and disintegrated. Like a thief in the night. What do these phrases means to those first followers of Messiah? When the airplanes were dropping their bombs on the ships in Pearl Harbor a place that was normally peaceful suddenly was it was not. As the elements from the ships were on fire and began to disintegrate it was sudden terror. As the atom bombs were being dropped on Japan it was like that sudden terror and everything was burned up and disintegrated. Man made things disappeared in the matter of seconds. During this time of the Feast of Dedication “Chanukah” what kind of lives are you leading? Is your life built on a fast food faith or is it built on Solid Biblical teachings? Now Kefa “Peter” was a man who walked with Yeshua for 3.5 years what do you think Kefa would mean when writing this epistle? What would be the standards of a man who walked with God, what standards would he be using? And if you say you are Yeshua’s are your standards the same as Kefa’s who walked with YESHUA? Are your standards scriptural and following Yeshua own example? Or is your life more like a fast food drive thru window of faith?
