362 A Hebraic look at the fruits of the Holy Spirit

What the rabbi was told after this message was “I have been a Christian all my life and have Never heard this information before, why did my former pastors not tell me this!!!”

Gal 5:22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

Gal 5:23  humility, self control. Nothing in the Torah stands against such things.

The passage of the fruit of Spirit is beautiful, yet not fully comprehended passage by the Church. To understand such message first we have to turn our minds into a Hebraic understanding. Remember the person who penned the letter was a trained Hebrew rabbi.  This passage is part of a letter that Rav. Shau'l was writing to the Galatians, exhorting them to renounce or not to be subject to the old nature.

The Galatians were people who worshiped the “mother of gods”   just as we read on:

Gal 5:19  And it is perfectly evident what the old nature does. It expresses itself in sexual immorality, impurity and indecency;

Gal 5:20  involvement with the occult and with drugs; in feuding, fighting, becoming jealous and getting angry; in selfish ambition, factionalism, intrigue

Gal 5:21  and envy; in drunkenness, orgies and things like these. I warn you now as I have warned you before: those who do such things will have no share in the Kingdom of God!

Here Rav Sha’ul is referring to the behavior the Galatians had before they accepted Yeshua HaMashiach.  In order to get a better understanding of the fruits of the Spirit, it is necessary to examine the context in which Rav Shaul wrote his letter, Hebraic.

Today, it is important for us to understand that each of the fruits listed in this passage has a much deeper and broader meaning in the context of Scripture and the Hebrew Language. Would you like to understand the meaning of each of them? Would you like to see this diamond through clear spiritual eyes? Find the answers in this message s we take “A Hebraic look at the fruits of the Holy Spirit”.
