376 The two witnesses
Have you ever tried to read, or study the book of revelation? Have you read it and found that there was so much information in there that it seemed to go over your head? The book of Revelation is not all that complicated, but in order to understand it, you have to take your normal thinking pattern put it to the side and look at it through a Hebraic culture. Now if you are able to do that, you will gain an understanding, as you never have before in your life.
Here are some things that we are going to be looking at in the book of Revelation. We will be talking about Revelation 11:1-13. Why was Yochanan ( John ) giving a measuring rod? We all know what a measuring rod is used for, but do we know what exactly it was used for in Revelation? Who are the witnesses in Revelation? What is their purpose? What do the two olive trees and the two menorahs represent? What is the spiritual condition that is being talked about in Revelation 11:8? Why do the people do not permit the corpses to be placed in a tomb? What is being mimicked in verse 10? Why does it mention 7,000 people in verse 13? Why couldn’t it have been more than 7,000? There are layers and layers to the verses that I have mentioned above, but you will not be able to understand the book of Revelation and the meaning in the verses, until you can see it from a Middle Eastern culture and through Hebraic eyes. Take an exciting look at the book of Revelation and what witnesses are by YHVH standards. You will be amazingly blessed by this teaching.
