Why did the talmidim/disciples catch exactly 153 fish in Yochanan‘s Gospel?

The beginning of the final Gospel: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…. and the Word became flesh.” The entire Gospel focuses our attention on the Living Word of God: Yeshua of Nazareth. The Evangelist also reveals that this Living Word of God is the Living Bread of Life. The Living Bread is the Living Word.

Matthew begins by telling us that Yeshua the Messiah is the Son of David; John, in sharp contrast, does not tell us that Yeshua is the Son of David. Matthew alone includes the Sermon on the Mount and Jesus’ famous Jewish statement: “I did not come to destroy Torah.” (Mt 5:17) In First Century Judaism, “Torah” and “Word of God” were synonyms: Torah is the Word of God. Again we see Yochanan/John taking the synoptic to a higher level, taking us deeper into the Gospel. Yeshua promised to bring Torah to its completion (cf Mt 5:18); the final Gospel reveals that Torah has become flesh in Yeshua of Nazareth.

At the end of his life, “when Moses had written down this Torah,” he gave this order: “[Every seven years] you shall read this Torah aloud in the presence of all Israel.” (Deut 31:9-11). Over the centuries, an annual cycle of readings was adopted to fulfill this requirement. The cycle of Torah readings – or “portions” – varied from century to century and place to place.

The 1910 Jewish Encyclopedia reports that a three-year Torah cycle used in Israel around the First Century had 153 Torah portions. “The 153 parts into which the Torah was divided in the cycle of three years, which prevailed in Israel till the exiles from Spain brought their customs into the Holy Land, are known as ‘sedarim’.” (“Parashah,” Cyrus Adler, Lewis N Dembitz)

Joh 21:15 After breakfast, Yeshua said to Shim`on Kefa, "Shim`on Bar-Yochanan, do you love me more than these?" He replied, "Yes, Lord, you know I'm your friend." He said to him, "Feed my lambs."

REMEMBER THIS IS A JEW "YESHUA" TALKING TO KEFA ANOTHER JEW.
Feed them what? The word, the PERFECT TORAH!

 

They pulled up 153 Fish. When you think about it, it's kind of strange that they would give an exact number. Why not something like we pulled up a large quantity of fish or a ballpark figure like "over one hundred fish"?

Below is the verse and some simple research on this mysterious number.

 

John 21:11 Shimon Kefa went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an 

hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.

 

  

 

153 =  

1 x 1 x 1 =1

5 x 5 x 5 =125      

3 x 3 x 3 =27

 

If we take 1+125+27 it totals to 153 again. Try this process on some other numbers and you

won't get the same result which makes it more set apart.

 

The Hebrew expression for 'Sons of God' has a numeric value of exactly “153”

(Beth/Nun/Yud   Heh/Aleph/Lamed/Chet/Yud/Mem)

בני האלהים = 153

So by casting this "Net" are we catching "sons of God"? That is the thinking behind Gematria

which is the numerical assignments to each letter of both the Hebrew and Greek alphabets.

This of course would mean the Greek and Hebrew numeric systems are some how interrelated as

"Sons of God" is the Hebrew calculation and that thought line is being mixed with the Greek

calculation from above.

 

The next verse uses a multiple of 153 when referring to "the net" within the same set of verses.

 

John 21:6 He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.

" So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in, because of the quantity of fish.

The Net does indeed total 153x8=1224

I originally thought this was pretty neat to see, the only problem is this number can be broken

even further down like this: 1224 = 2 x2 x 2 x3 x3 x17 which is less impressive then seeing 153 in the equation.

You will find research out there that says Fishes = a multiple of 153 or is 153 as a numeric

value. I'm was unable to locate any Greek word for fish or fishes that are a multiple of

 153 in scripture.

Here are the Fish words that don't = 153 or multiples of 153.

Ιχθυων = Fish 
10+600+9+400+800+50 = 1869 - Strong's # 02486 (Greek)

Ιχθυας = Fish - Strong's # 02486 (Greek) 
10+600+9+400+1+200 = 1220

Ιχθυς = Fish - Strong's # 02486 (Greek) 
10+600+9+400+200 = 1219

Ιχθυν = Fish - Strong's # 02486 (Greek)

10+600+9+400+50=1069

דגה = Fish - Strong's # 01710 (Hebrew)

4+3+5 = 12

 

The figurate number 153 is the 17th triangle number: (17² + 17)/2 = 153. It is a

truncated triangle number, too, as 1 and 15 are also triangle numbers.

The reverse 351 is the 26th triangle number: (26² + 26)/2 = 351.

There are many Triangular numbers within the scriptures, so there is intelligence behind

the verses and numbers don't appear to be picked out of thin air.

Why 153 Fish?

Ever wonder why those 7 disciples hauled in exactly 153 fish? Me too. Lets look. It might look quite involved mathematically; But if you will stick with this I think you will be amazed.

First, I will say that ALL numbers except number three itself, that are evenly divisible by 3 "fall" into the number 153 (like fish into a net). We will later see why the number 3 itself is excepted. Here is the basic Scriptural reference:

John 21:6-14 
 

He said to them, "Throw in your net to starboard and you will catch some." So they threw in their net, and there were so many fish in it that they couldn't haul it aboard. The talmid Yeshua loved said to Kefa, "It's the Lord!" On hearing it was the Lord, Shim`on Kefa threw on his coat, because he was stripped for work, and plunged into the lake; but the other talmidim followed in the boat, dragging the net full of fish; for they weren't far from shore, only about a hundred yards.

When they stepped ashore, they saw a fire of burning coals with a fish on it, and some bread. Yeshua said to them, "Bring some of the fish you have just caught." Shim`on Kefa went up and dragged the net ashore. It was full of fish, 153 of them; but even with so many, the net wasn't torn. Yeshua said to them, "Come and have breakfast." None of the talmidim dared to ask him, "Who are you?" They knew it was the Lord. Yeshua came, took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish.

        This was now the third time Yeshua had appeared to the talmidim after being raised from the dead.

 

Now for the FUN part! The Math. Keep in mind as you read all of this, the 
importance of one-third. Think back to the hair division by Ezekiel. Think forward to the 1/3 of of the stars in Rev 12.

The number 153 is the MASTER triangular number. What is a triangular number? Choose any whole number you wish, other than 1. The number can have as many digits as you wish. Then cube each digit separately and add the cubes together. Keep doing this to the resultant number, and you will find most of them eventually converging into one of three numbers. The numbers are 153, 370 and 371. On a cube-sum result of number 4 (earth), and numbers divisible by 4, ONLY, you will find a “loop back” into its previous series of numbers in that string. Like being caught in a rut. You will find, however in this loop back will be the number 55, or 11 times 5, or grace. (ie, judgment and Grace). The number 370 is about 1/3 of numbers, also. It is thus a kind of dead end, or one of Satan’s other numbers. 371 is the Christ number. It is 1 ( the number of Unity) greater. The numbers 370, 371 are similar to 153, in the sense that they regenerate themselves always, with no retrace, nor reference to any other number.

It is therefore seen that approximately 1/3 of all numbers result in 153, 1/3 result in 371, and 1/3 result in 370, or just a little short, a dead end.. Thus I use the term “triangular” number to describe these.

Remember, to calculate, add the cubes of the individual digits. Thus,

To triangulate the number, 92,

Calculate (9) cubed = 729 and add (2) cubed = 8 to get 737. Then,

Calculate (7) cubed + (3) cubed + (7) cubed to get 713 , then

Calculate (7) cubed + (1) cubed + (7) cubed to get 371.

Continue forever, and you will see that the number 371 thus triangulated will always yield 371. That is, (3)cubed + (7) cubed + (1) cubed = 371

Triangulate the number 1, and you will see it never changes. It’s always 1

Triangulate the number 2, and it will converge to 371, the Son or second of the trinity.

Triangulate the number 3, and we have: (3) cubed = 27. (2) cubed = 8, + (7) cubed = 343, yielding 351 NOTE the mirror image of the Master, 153: Continuing we have

(3) cubed + (5) cubed + (1) cubed = 153!!! And it was after the THIRD iteration!!

It is thus in the third age that Satan will be no more.

Mathematically you figure the number down to the "final outcome" of the number.

Here is the trinity function (to the 3rd power) performed on the number 153. 
1³ + 5³ + 3³ = 
(1 x 1 x 1) + (5 x 5 x 5) + (3 x 3 x 3) = 
1 + 125 + 27 = 153 The final outcome of number 153 is Itself. This is also true for 371 and 370.

Now, let's use the trinity function to see what happens to the number666. 
6³ + 6³ + 6³ = 
(6 x 6 x 6) + (6 x 6 x 6) + (6 x 6 x 6) = 
216 + 216 + 216 = 

648 = 
6^3 + 4³ + 8³ = 
(6 x 6 x 6) + (4 x 4 x 4) + (8 x 8 x 8) = don't give up.... 
216 + 64 + 512 = we're almost there. 

792 = 
7³ + 9³ + 2³ = 
(7 x 7 x 7) + (9 x 9 x 9) + (2 x 2 x 2) = 
343 + 729 + 8 = 

1080 = 
1³ + 0³ + 8³ + 0³ = 
(1 x 1 x 1) + (0 x 0 x 0) + (8 x 8 x 8) + (0 x 0 x 0) = 
1 + 0 + 512 + 0 = 

513 = 
5³ + 1³ + 3³ = 
(5 x 5 x 5) + (1 x 1 x 1) + ( 3 x 3 x 3) = 
125 + 1 + 27 = 153!!!! The final outcome of 666 (Satan) is 153...He is caught in the net, and thrown away!! 

Satan (666) is only a cheap imitation of the True Lord. As you can see even from numbers.

The number 153 is the "final outcome" of ALL numbers divisible by 3!

God used that number, 153, specifically. 
The numbers that have a "final outcome" of 153 is not actually one-third of all 
numbers.... But IS all of the "triangular" numbers.

If you were having trouble following all of this, maybe if you print it out it would be easier to read. Your printer will need to be able to print "superscript" to get the dreaded Math. Matt 13:47-48 
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: 
Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.

Now triangulate these first ten numbers--

Start with

Father 1 =1    A Constant, never changing, self.

Son     2 > 8 >512 > 134 > 92 > 737 > 713 > 371 Thus 2 is caught by 371 ( after the 7^th iteration)

Trinity 3 > 27 > 351(SATAN’s Number) > 153 Thus 3, the trinity function passes thru Satan to Finality).

Earth 4 > 64 > 280 > 520 > 133 > 55 > 250 > 133 > 55 (therefore an endless loop- earth thus would never learn, even though grace is present 11 fold) Interesting that this Grace, 5, is found present eleven (judgment) times

Grace 5 > 125> 134 > 92 > 737 > 713 > 371 (The Son, Grace always leads to Him, and after Him, never changing)

Man 6 > 216 > 225 > 141 > 66 > 432 > 99 > 1458 > 702 > 351 >153 (man sees the Trinity only after going through Satan, the mirror image of Christ)  This takes 10 (Law)iterations.

Perfect 7 > 343 > 118 > 514 > 190 > 730 > 370: (370 is an endless loop. Man (6) gets in the loop after 6 iterations, but can reach perfection by adding 1 (Father) to get the Son (371) , becoming (8) (new).  Man (6) can also take 1 (self) out, becoming 5, and enter by His Grace.

New 8 > 512 > 134 > 92 > 737 > 713 > 371 (on the 6^th (man) iteration, we arrive at 371, never changing)

Judgment 9 > 729 > 1080 > 513 > 153 ( Thus, after 4 (earth) iterations we avoid the judgment of the earth by The judge, only through the Grace( 5) of Christ. We can do this by adding Father, 1 to 6, man, thereby being made perfect, 7. Or essentially we take self 1 out of man 6, and enter via His Grace, 5.Satans triangular result number 351, can be seen to be temporary, and seen to be the mirror image of the ‘trinity function“, 153. No news here. 351 is seen to be swallowed up in the end.

Notice also that satan’s mirror image number 351 is 20 short of Christ’s number, 371. 20 is the number of Redemption In both Vallowe and Bullinger

 

Law, Testimony 10 > 1 and never changes. Thus the Law is also Eternal, and constant.  It never changes either.

Interesting stuff., and far to many truths to be a coincidence.
