467 the servant
SYNOPSIS: Yeshua said “the Son of man did not come to be served but to serve”. The only way to fully understand this is to be united in one body and one spirit with Messiah Yeshua. A true servant is someone who can bless his enemy and not expect anything in return? Have you ever been an enemy of Yehovah? Did you know the 613 commandments from birth or even at age 10? So in fact you were His enemy but did He destroy you, No. Learn how to be more like the servant of Yehovah today.
SECTION 1: A UNITED PEOPLE. Yeshua the Messiah exhorted us to be “as one” or in Hebrew “Echad” as He and the Father are. What does this statement mean? We can only truly understand this phrase by first understanding our Hebrew roots. For when Yeshua said “Make them as one” it was not the first time this was being said. When we understand the grafting in process of two people’s becoming one. How there must be something physical that puts the two pieces together like a piece of rope then we understand this phrase and eternal concept much better. After understanding this concept “as one” we will look at the word “United” to fully comprehend its true significance for our lives today.
SECTION 2: NOT READY FOR IT. At BGMC the commandment of Yehovah are central to all the teachings that go forth from this pulpit. These commandments are perfect because they were given to us by Yehovah Himself, and HE never makes a mistake. After one gives there life to Messiah Yeshua there is a key element missing in our walk to our eternal rest. This key element is to truly understand what it means to be a servant. The Hebrew people had the sacrifices and the temple when Yeshua came to earth as a man. They were servants in one understanding. So why did Messiah come, what was the key issue, hint…it was not to do away with the Perfect commandments like the pagan church would say. This section will explore the next step from being a baby “Born again” to what it means by being a productive fruitful tree.
SECTION 3: THE SERVANT. We are going to look at the diamond to get a biblical picture of what being a true servant of Yah means. The Son of man did not come to be served but to serve. How do we comprehensively understand this concept to help Yeshua throw fiery coals on our enemy?
