Yochanan 8:1-16
SYNOPSIS: Joh 8:12 Yeshua spoke to them again: "I am the light of the world; whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light which gives life." What is the difference between the light and darkness biblically? Yeshua speaks about this right after they brought Him a woman who was caught in the act of adultery. The key question is why would the King of the Jews speaking to Jewish people in the temple say these words to them? The next question we will look at is what does it mean for us today, are we like the naked adulterous woman?
SECTION 1: THE LIGHT. This section will focus on the definitions of certain words in the passage of Yochanan. We will see once we understand the more profound definitions of these words and see them in their Hebraic passages. We will get a different understanding of the adulterous woman. You will see what our role is as students of the word and what the great commission really means.
SECTION 2: THE DARKNESS. Now that we have looked at the light and been truly blessed by its Hebraic understanding we will look at the deeper meaning of the darkness. How this darkness ties together with obedience and trust. With obedience and trust you overcome manmade bondage to walk with Yehovah. How this darkness is what separates those who follow and those who go to Sheol.
