540 A heart that loves HIS word
Luke 11:23-30 The Spirit of Yonah
SYNOPSIS: There is some very bad times ahead of us if we don’t act and act fast. Yeshua the Messiah was teaching in the Gospel of Luke chapter 11. He started out speaking about are you for or against Me? Then He began to speak about demons and how to rid them from your house. He was interrupted by this woman who was totally in the flesh. This angered Him for He knew her heart and the others with her. So instead He changed the topic from demons to hearing the word and obeying it. He then follows up with a teaching on Yonah that most religious leaders are afraid to speak about. What is that passage and how does it tie together with King Yoshiyahu (Josiah)
SECTION 1: THE REST OF THE CROWD. In section 1 we will go over Luke 11 and Luke 13. In both of these passage we see people more focused on the fleshly things then the spiritual truth. Luk 13:17 By these words, Yeshua put to shame the people who opposed him; but the rest of the crowd were happy about all the wonderful things that were taking place through him. We will find out what is so saddening to Yehovah about this verse.
SECTION 2: TO HEAR IF FOR THE FIRST TIME AND GET A CIRCUMCISED HEART. Many people want a clean heart but are unwilling to allow the word to change them. Many years ago before Messiah Israel was about to be destroyed by Yehovah. One man heard the word and it circumcised his heart. The circumcision of his heart allowed himself and the people to get 13 more years. Find out who he is and what so profoundly changed his heart so that he would not see calamity.
SECTION 3: CATEGORIES. Now that we have hear the truth we now have to allow it to set us free. We will look at 14 of the categories and see if we can get more time for this nation on the day of her birth.
