Yochanan 1:19-23

 

SYNOPSIS: As we come to His fall Moedim (Holy Days) are you prepared to meet with HIM? As we travel through this message, teaching and exhortation we will see a thread. The thread is being prepared to meet with Elohim when They come to your home. When they come will your home will you be trying to hide all the things you do not want them to see or will you be available to minister to them immediately and without hesitation? If there is hesitation will there be a chastisement of biblical proportions in your house from HIM who sees all things?

 

SECTION 1: ONE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS PREPARE THE WAY. Yochanan was asked a question by the Pharisees and he gave them this answer. No I am one crying in the wilderness prepare the way. Why did he say this to them? Why is this from verse 3 and not verse 1? How does this exhortation tie together with gay, hill country, illicit worship, insidious worship and the plains of your life? How does this tie together with the fall Moedim?

 

SECTION 2: A BIBLICAL UNDERSTANDING OF THE WORD “PREPARE”. Is your heart prepared to prostrate before Elohim? Will you give the living water back to Elohim so They can put a baby in your living water? You may not have an heir that will carry on the family name but do you serve in Spirit and truth? Are you preparing for the biblical Holy Days besides just taking that day off? Do you think you can show up empty handed? Finally the responsibility for the one thing that keeps your life going.

 

SECTION 3: PROPHECY HAPPENING TODAY THAT WILL FOREVER CHANGE THE WORLD. We will look at a prophecy from 2500 years ago that is happening today. Another prophecy from 2700 years ago that happened this week. And one that is 1900 years ago that may happen very, very shortly.

 

 

SECTION 1: ONE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS PREPARE THE WAY.

Bumpy means insidious

1 intended to entrap or beguile: an insidious plan.

2. stealthily treacherous or deceitful: an insidious enemy.

3.operating or proceeding in an inconspicuous or seemingly harmless waybut 

actually with grave effect:

Lev 23:24  "Tell the people of Isra'el, 'In the seventh month, the first of the month is to be for you a day of complete rest for remembering, a holy convocation announced with blasts on the shofar.

 

B’midbar 29:1-6

Num 29:2  Prepare a burnt offering to make a fragrant aroma for Adonai — one young bull, one ram and seven male lambs in their first year and without defect —

 

Num 29:6  This is to be in addition to the burnt offering for Rosh-Hodesh with its grain offering, the regular burnt offering with its grain offering, and their drink offerings, according to the rule for them; this will be a fragrant aroma, an offering made by fire to Adonai.

Pro 16:1  A person is responsible to prepare his heart, but how the tongue speaks is from Adonai.

I guess Yehovah saw that Avraham did not have these obstacles what about you?
