551 “10 Days of Awe” A Shabbat to make things right
Luke 23:33-34 Shabbat Special
SYNOPSIS: There is this great battle between those who think all you have to do is speak the name of Messiah and get into heaven and the real remnant. This thought process of the speakers of the name and the doers of His word is a total contradiction from the book of Ya’akov. The truth is without much personal transformation and an incredible amount of work there will be not entering into the Holy place. Our example as followers of Messiah is to be like Him. He never broke the Torah but confirmed it not only with His speech but by His actions. Our job is to be more like Him especially in these the 10 days of awe.
SECTION 1: WHAT HAPPENS BETWEEN YOM TERUAH AND YOM KIPPUR. Yeshua speaks about forgiving people while He was on the cross? How does this incredible gift tie together with Yom HaDin “The 10 days of Awe”? How does faith with no actions tie together with Yom Kippur? We will see in this foundational section of the 10 days of awe.
SECTION 2: THE NEW TESTAMENT LAW FOR YOUR OFFERINGS TO GOD
(Is it really New?) What is the basic understanding of the holiest day of the year? After we have this basic beginner level understanding we are going to get much deeper into Yeshua’s words about the altar. How these words tie to gether with the 10 days of awe. Mat 5:23 So if you are offering your gift at the Temple altar and you remember there that your brother has something against you, Mat 5:24 leave your gift where it is by the altar, and go, make peace with your brother. Then come back and offer your gift. How do these two verses tie together with today being the 7th day?
SECTION 3: THE TRUE MEANING OF TESHUVAH AND BEING MEEK. The so called body has an unbiblical view of what the term “Meek” means. In this final section of this exhortation. We will discover the Hebraic biblical understanding of being meek and how it actually means be very, very strong.
