Mattiyahu (Mat) 7:24-25

 

Synopsis: we are going to look at what is absolute truth. There is absolute truth and if you don’t know it there is a Stanford study that is all about your life.

 

SECTION 1: FOUNDATION OF THE WORD THAT IS GIVEN TO THE FUTURE GENERATIONS. If we do not have a firm foundation of the truth we will all suffer. Training up a child is the key to having food in your house. The question needs to be asked would you marry you own son or daughter? Are they the type of people who walk with Yehovah? Are they the stable type of people Yehovah is looking for? Or are they a good candidate for Police Battalion 101

 

SECTION 2: YOU WERE FOREIGNERS. To fully understand this phrase is to truly understand blessings. I knew there was much more to why Yehovah made it such a point to tell us this lesson. Wait till you see how the word of Yehovah is so eternal and so amazing. Find out why He said “You were slaves”, “We are to take care of the poor and weak, the widow and the orphan”. Then to comprehend this knowledge with what does it mean to really “Dehumanize” someone.

 

SECTION 3:THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH THAT LASTS FOREVER. The word will never change nor does His covenant ways. See how in distress if we have a firm foundation we will live forever at His house

SECTION 2: YOU WERE FOREIGNERS.

 

Sh’mot 22:21-24

Exo 22:21  (22:20) "You must neither wrong nor oppress a foreigner living among you, for you yourselves were foreigners in the land of Egypt.

Exo 22:22  (22:21) "You are not to abuse any widow or orphan.

Exo 22:23  (22:22) If you do abuse them in any way, and they cry to me, I will certainly heed their cry.

Exo 22:24  (22:23) My anger will burn, and I will kill you with the sword — your own wives will be widows and your own children fatherless.

 

 

D’varim 10:16-20 Key: V18 Justice for who

Deu 10:16  Therefore, circumcise the foreskin of your heart; and don't be stiffnecked any longer!

Deu 10:17  For Adonai your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, mighty and awesome God, who has no favorites and accepts no bribes.

Deu 10:18  He secures justice for the orphan and the widow; he loves the foreigner, giving him food and clothing.

Deu 10:19  Therefore you are to love the foreigner, since you were foreigners in the land of Egypt.

Deu 10:20  You are to fear Adonai your God, serve him, cling to him and swear by his name.

 

 

D’varim 14:28-29

Deu 14:28  At the end of every three years you are to take all the tenths of your produce from that year and store it in your towns.

Deu 14:29  Then the Levi, because he has no share or inheritance like yours, along with the foreigner, the orphan and the widow living in your towns, will come, eat and be satisfied - so that Adonai your God will bless you in everything your hands produce.

 

 

D’varim 24:19-20

Deu 24:19  "When harvesting the grain in your field, if you forgot a sheaf of grain there, you are not to go back and get it; it will remain there for the foreigner, the orphan and the widow, so that Adonai your God will bless you in all the work you do.

Deu 24:20  When you beat your olive tree, you are not to go back over the branches again; the olives that are left will be for the foreigner, the orphan and the widow.

SECTION 3:THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH THAT LASTS FOREVER

 

This is absolute truth

Mat 5:18  Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud ( י ) or a stroke will pass from the Torah — not until everything that must happen has happened.
