SYNOPSIS: Sometimes in this world we live in it is extremely hard to not slip. To not covet what the other person has received. Sometimes it is hard not to go along with the pagan secular crowd. Sometimes it is hard not to question Yehovah and ask why that slimy person who hates you just got a promotion. Sometimes we get so beat up spiritually during the week we start to go down that slippery road of secularism or a form of religion. The key is the knowledge of how important the house of Yehovah really is to put things in perspective.

 

FOUNDATIONAL SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY’S TEACHING: Pro 1:5  Someone who is already wise will hear and learn still more; someone who already understands will gain the ability to counsel well;

 

THEME 1: GAINING THE ABILITY TO GO THROUGH THE NARROW DOOR BEFORE SOMETHING CHANGES DRASTICALLY. Learning to be wise needs to be done on a daily basis. Sometimes life gets in the way of that. That is why Our King gave us Shabbat. A day to stop all things. Pro 1:5,  Luke 13:23-28 The Shabbat struggle, Yochanan (Jn) 14:6

 

THEME 2: THINGS COULD CHANGE AT THE BLINK OF AN EYE. The 2000 year old seeds that now have a 10 year old tree. Prophecy make take a while to happen but it will happening. And when it does it will be like the twinkling of an I or seeming like a moment in time. 1 Cor 15:52, Tehillim (Ps) 39:4-5 Make me grasp this moment and understand it, Tehillim (Ps) 73:1-19 suddenly they are gone from this earth, 1) V2-3 Is introspection and envy of the pagan world that many of us go thru, 2) V4-12 speak about how the wicked their lives are free from pain and suffering, 3) V13-16 is introspection from Asaf, 4) V17 is the wow moment from Yah to Asaf and to us, 5) V18-19 is about that moment when the wicked go from this life to the next and meet the door keeper Yeshua, Tehillim (Ps) 90:10-12 Teach us to number our days because it might all change in a single moment

Pro 15:9  Adonai detests the way of the wicked but loves anyone who pursues righteousness. Pro 15:10  Discipline is severe for one who leaves the way, and whoever can't stand correction will die. Pro 15:11  Sh'ol and Abaddon lie open to Adonai; so how much more people's hearts!
