747 THE TRUE UNDERSTANDING OF THE PEACE OFFERING

 

Scripture: Yirmeyahu (Jer) 2:1-25 and how fear of me is not in you.

 

SYNOPSIS: The amazing book of Yirmeyahu (Jer) has two levels of understanding at minimum. Today we are going to look at the dependents of Avraham, Yitzchak & Ya’akov and the descendants of the House of Israel. How they are different and how they are the same. We are going to explore how the book of Yirmeyahu is about the Body of Messiah today and how the church looks like to what should be their closest friend. Find out how you should not even do the Sh’ma without first doing a peace offering.

Lev 7:11  " 'This is the law for sacrificing peace offerings offered to YEHOVAH: 

 

PEACE - H8002 שׁלם shelem BDB Definition: 1) peace offering, requital, sacrifice for alliance or friendship 2) voluntary sacrifice of thanks

 

Sh’mot (Ex) 20:24 making peace with ELOHIM causes HIS name to be remembered

Exo 20:24  'You shall make an altar of earth for Me, and you shall sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, your sheep and your oxen; in every place where I cause My name to be remembered, I will come to you and bless you.
