866 The desire to be separated verse the need to be separated

 

Verses: Mattiyahu (Mat) 24:3-22

 

SYNOPSIS: in today’s HaShabbat lesson we are going to study two people groups. One who chose to put everything on the line to worship ELOHIM in spirit and truth. They put their finances on the line. They put their reputation on the line. The put their lives in danger. Even the lives of their children were in danger. Because they did this to serve ELOHIM their story to this day is still told. We will ask the question; do you have the same courage as they did? The other group we will study, was forced to make the decision to worship YEHOVAH. Their country had stopped worshiping YEHOVAH. They were truly living under pagan rule. But there was an event where a difficult choice to serve YEHOVAH would be made. Today we will look at the desire to be separated verse the need to be separated.

Mattiyahu (Mat) 24:16-18 escape to the hills. Yochanan (Jn) 10:22-23 YESHUA recognized this day.

Mat 24:16  "that will be the time for those in Y'hudah to escape to the hills. Mat 24:17  If someone is on the roof, he must not go down to gather his belongings from his house; Mat 24:18  if someone is in the field, he must not turn back to get his coat.

Like ref Rom 1:24  This is why God has given them up to the vileness of their hearts' lusts, to the shameful misuse of each other's bodies. Rom 1:25  They have exchanged the truth of God for falsehood, by worshipping and serving created things, rather than the Creator—praised be he for ever. Amen.

Luke 21:20-22 when everything that has been written in the Tanakh will come true.

Luk 21:20  "However, when you see Yerushalayim surrounded by armies, then you are to understand that she is about to be destroyed. 

Luk 21:21  Those in Y'hudah must escape to the hills, those inside the city must get out, and those in the country must not enter it. 

Luk 21:22  For these are the days of vengeance, when everything that has been written in the Tanakh will come true.

Joel 1:15-20 Oh no! The Day! The Day of YEHOVAH is upon us!

Joe 1:15  "Oh no! The Day! The Day of YEHOVAH is upon us! As destruction from Shaddai it is coming! 

Joe 1:16  The food is cut off before our very eyes, also joy and gladness from the house of our God. 

Joe 1:17  The seed-grain is rotting in its furrows; the granaries are deserted, the barns in ruins; because the grain has withered. 

Joe 1:18  How the animals groan! The herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture. The flocks of sheep bear the punishment, too. 

Joe 1:19  YEHOVAH, I cry out to you! For the fire has consumed the pastures in the desert, and the flame set ablaze all the trees in the fields. 

Joe 1:20  Even the wild animals come to you, panting, because the streambeds have dried up, and fire has consumed the pastures in the desert."

Hebrews 11:7-9 was filled with holy fear.

Heb 11:7  By trusting, Noach, after receiving divine warning about things as yet unseen, was filled with holy fear and built an ark to save his household. Through this trusting, he put the world under condemnation and received the righteousness that comes from trusting. 

Heb 11:8  By trusting, Avraham obeyed, after being called to go out to a place which God would give him as a possession; indeed, he went out without knowing where he was going. 

Heb 11:9  By trusting, he lived as a temporary resident in the Land of the promise, as if it were not his, staying in tents with Yitz'chak and Ya`akov, who were to receive what was promised along with him. 

 

1 Yochanan (Jn) 2:15-17 But whoever does God's will remains forever.

1Jn 2:15  Do not love the world or the things of the world. If someone loves the world, then love for the Father is not in him; 

1Jn 2:16  because all the things of the world—the desires of the old nature, the desires of the eyes, and the pretensions of life—are not from the Father but from the world. 

1Jn 2:17  And the world is passing away, along with its desires. But whoever does God's will remains forever. 

 

2 Corinthians 6:14-18 'Go out from their midst; separate yourselves.

2Co 6:17  Therefore YEHOVAH says, " 'Go out from their midst; separate yourselves; don't even touch what is unclean. Then I myself will receive you.

Joh 10:22  Then came Hanukkah in Yerushalayim. It was winter, Joh 10:23  and Yeshua was walking around inside the Temple area, in Shlomo's Colonnade.
