MESSIANIC LESSON 985 A REAL TRUE REVIVAL OF ALL OF GOD’S PEOPLE

 

BIBLE: Mattiyahu 23:37-39 you will not see me again until you say.  

SYNOPSIS: In today’s lesson we are going to look at the possibility that a revival is starting to happen, or that maybe YEHOVAH is getting the young adults ready for the real fire. What is a real true revival of all of GOD’S people? What does that look like? What do they need to do? What has to happen? Mat 23:39  For I tell you, from now on, you will not see me again until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of YEHOVAH.' ". Will this only happen if a true revival happens first?

 

BIBLE VERSES: Mattiyahu 23:37-39 you will not see me again until you say.   Rev. 14:1-5 these are the ones who have experienced what a true revival is. 2^nd Chronicles 7:14 but it is more than that. Yochanan (John) 15:16 in whose name. Yirmeyahu (Jer) 5:1-13 what will it take.

 

Mattiyahu 23:37-39 you will not see me again until you say.  

Mat 23:37  "Yerushalayim! Yerushalayim! You kill the prophets! You stone those who are sent to you! How often I wanted to gather your children, just as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, but you refused! 

Mat 23:38  Look! God is abandoning your house to you, leaving it desolate. 

Mat 23:39  For I tell you, from now on, you will not see me again until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of YEHOVAH.' "

In the Hebrew WING: H3671 כּנף kânâph BDB Definition: 1) wing, extremity, edge, winged, border, corner, shirt 2) skirt, corner (of garment)

 

Ref. Num 15:38  "Speak to the sons of Isra'el, instructing them to make, through all their generations, tzitziyot on the corners of their garments, and to put with the tzitzit on each corner a blue thread.

Rev. 14:1-5 these are the ones who have experienced what a true revival is.

Rev 14:1  Then I looked, and there was the Lamb standing on Mount Tziyon; and with him were 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads.

VIRGINS – CHASTE: G3933 παρθένος Parthenos Thayer Definition: 1) a virgin

1a) a marriageable maiden 2) a man who has abstained from all uncleanness and whoredom attendant on idolatry, and so has kept his chastity 3) one who has never had intercourse with women

 

Ref. Lev 18:22  " 'You are not to go to bed with a man as with a woman; it is an abomination.

The Nazi Joseph Goebbles wrote: “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic, and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

2^nd Chronicles 7:14 but it is more than that.

2Ch 7:14  then, if my people, who bear my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face and turn from their evil ways, I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land. 

 

If my people, which are called by my name

Who are those who are called by God’s name? Us. Christians. Those who called and believed in the name of Christ to save them from their sins

 

Shall humble themselves –

Our world today doesn’t like humility, but that’s the only way to come to God. We must acknowledge how far we have fallen short and that there is no good work of our own that can save us from God’s judgement of sin. The only way we can be saved is through Christ who created a way for us to have fellowship with God. James 4:8-10 says, “Come hear to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.”
