The focus of this lesson is that holiness is a state of being that affects every aspect of life. Yehovah desires for us to be holy not to be simply “bossy”, but so that we may dwell with him. Although memorizing all of the laws can be somewhat helpful, that is not the purpose for these passages of scripture. Yehovah intended to be certain that man fully understood the level of perfection and exactness that exists in Heaven. He desires that we understand the great chasm between man and God that is created by sin. The word Kadosh “Holy” can be found 522 times in the Scriptures we might want to consider how important Holiness is to Yehovah. We who are followers of Messiah Yeshua base our whole lives on one Scripture Yochanan/John 3:16 and this is an awesome starting place. We must consider how important to Yehovah is Kadosh if it is found 522 times. |
